Byrum’s Vacuum & Sewing Center, Inc. has been serving Carteret, Craven, and Onslow Counties since 1979. In 1985, the current owner, Joe Morris, purchased Byrum’s and has been providing reliable, consistent, and affordable vacuum cleaner and sewing machine service ever since.

Since 1992, Byrum’s Vacuums has been serving the coastal areas of North Carolina with quality central vacuum installations. Not all central vacuum installations are created equal, and we take great pride and care with every single install- from the smallest home to the largest. We install in both new construction and existing homes. Our extra precaution will provide you a trouble-free system for decades to come!

We are the region’s MD Manufacturing specialist offering the Silent Master, Modern Day, and FloMaster central vacuum brands, along with the industry-acclaimed Stealth Powerbrush Kit and Hide-a-Hose inlet system.

Byrum’s Vacuum services central vacuum systems of all brands, including Eureka, Nutone, Miele, and MD Manufacturing, and we carry replacement hoses, inlets, tools, beater brushes and filters compatible with most systems.
